A full strip and re-roof on an average three bed semi typically ranges from twelve to twenty thousand euro depending on size, pitch, covering, scaffolding and whether battens, felt or timbers need replacing. We give a free inspection and an itemised written quote before anything is agreed.
Do you charge for a roof inspection or quotation?
No. Inspections and written quotations are free anywhere in Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Cork, Kerry and Waterford, and there is no obligation to proceed.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. We carry full public liability and employer liability insurance and are happy to email current certificates before work starts.
Do you offer emergency roof repairs?
Yes, 24 hours a day. Ring 087 003 3779 and we will make the roof safe, usually the same day and often within a couple of hours for active leaks.
How long does a full re-roof take?
Most domestic re-roofs take between four and ten working days once scaffolding is up, weather permitting.
What guarantee do you provide?
Every job gets a written workmanship guarantee, from two years on small repairs up to twenty years on full installations, plus any manufacturer material warranties.
Do you deal with insurance claims?
Yes. For storm and impact damage we supply dated photographs, a written report and itemised costings in the format loss adjusters expect.
Can you work on listed or period properties?
Yes. We regularly re-slate period and protected structures using natural slate, lime mortar and traditional detailing.
Do I need scaffolding?
Anything beyond short duration work at height needs proper scaffolded access. It is included and priced separately in your quotation.

How do I know if my roof needs replacing or just repairing?
If failures are isolated, repairs make sense. Once slates are widely delaminating, nails are corroded or the felt has perished, patch repairs stop being economic and a re-roof is the better spend. Our inspection report tells you plainly which situation you are in.
